Good News from Central Europe

European missionaries can be a discouraged group. We use phrases like, "plowing concrete," to describe the receptiviy we find. And it is true at time; it seems nothing works. We become experts at what isn't effective, but don't find what does.

And when experts, who know exactly what we need to do, move here they almost never last more than a year. They can't live without the results.

So, it is great to report to our prayer supporters, families and friends that this year has been a good one. Dozens have come to salvation and dozens more have been baptized. I'm hesitant to share the numbers, but do want to encourage you that God is answering those prayer of the past two decades! There is a baptism this week in the eastern part of the Czech Republic. It is at a church that one of our families has played a key part.

PRAYER REQUESTS

1. Rejoice with them!

2. Pray for wisdom as the workers here keep on sharing their faith and are actually seeing some fruit.

3. Pray for these new believers to grow as disciples.
