John Wooden Week

Okay, I am to this day a huge basketball fan.  The greatest coach, John Wooden, died the other day.  Those who have not played team sports may not understand the effect such participation can have.  I was blessed to have a coach who pushed each individual, as well as the team.  I realized a few years after high school that a lot of what we heard came from the John Wooden way.  Our team was far better than the sum of the parts.  It was a life-defining and changing experience for me.  So, this week is John Wooden week at Walls and Gates.
