Church in Petrinja

Elise and I will have the honor of leading three “seminars” for the Baptist Church in Petrinja, Croatia. These will be held on the next three Tuesday nights at 6 PM.

The Petrinja Baptist Church baptized eight people a few weeks ago. Not many, you may think, except that their membership was only 21 at the time.

The church has no pastor right now. Two deacons are leading the group to spiritual health and vitality. They have been a joy to work with over the past couple of years and we are looking forward to being with them several times in the weeks to come.

You might notice the quotes around seminars in the opening paragraph. While they are promoted as such, they won’t be. I will teach the whole group for a few minutes; then, Elise will lead the women and I will lead the men to discuss how to grow in their walk with God. We want to model how to do healthy small groups while providing the teaching the church has requested. Please remember to pray for us and for this church.
