Thanks in All Things

We are having a great week combining vacation and work. We are on the Adriatic coast and visiting thetown and beach of Brela today. It is maybe our favorite on the mainland. There are other contenders. I am thankful for the beauty, peace and fun with our family.

Ryan leaves for America this next Monday.   He does not seem old enough to fly 6,000 miles on his own, including the airports of Zagreb, Frankfurt, Chicago, OKC, DFW, Frankfurt and Zagreb.  But, he is.  Now to get dad treating him like the young man he is!  That seems to be a challenge that I don't always meet.

I am thankful for my son and the young man he has become.  He is going to the States for two weeks to visit colleges and grandparents.  He has in mind some shopping and Taco Bell, which he describes as heavenly.  Ryan does tend to exaggerate with very colorful language at times!
