God's Ways Are Not Our Ways

Alan Knox has written a great article that you should take a minute to read.  I think he is suggesting that maybe God does things in ways we would never dream of.  I am responsible to the IMB to have a plan on how we are going to reach the people we are called to.  Good idea.  One principle that I always keep in mind is that God will do it in His way and I better be ready to adjust to it, despite my brilliant plans and great wisdom.  The plans are important - to get me thinking, praying and working; however, they should never cause anything but humility before the God who loves, sacrifices, and draws people to Himself.  Right now, despite those brilliant plans and great wisdom, I am an expert - on what does not work and am even becoming quite experienced in that field.  Pray for us to keep praying, thinking and working to reach the people here.  Most of all, pray for humble hearts that will be quick adjust to the ways of God.
